The Miro to my Kip Sabian, lifetime friend Pete Norris is here to review the December 22nd 1984 episode of Mid South. We discuss his fringe fandom of the sport of Pro Wrestling over the years and some very unique memories, including meeting Tatanka in a wrestling ring in Croydon, litres of lethally strong beer in Sumo Hall in Tokyo & pre ordering odd sandwiches to entice him to attend late night gatherings for WWE pay per views at my Mum’s.

Before we get into the review we take a trip down our own memory lane and reminisce about Mark's 40th birthday spectacular in New York, and the surprise we managed to keep under wraps for months in the build up.
The show itself contains all your usual Mid South goodness with Buddy Landell in action against Shawn Michaels, Kamala vs a departing Magnum TA & a main event of Hercules Hernandez & Steve Williams vs the Rock N Roll Express.

Dan Phillips (@danpffc) & I take a deep dive look at the follow up to the 'Montreal Screwjob'. We go through the match itself (how could we not), and do a full review of the following night's 'Raw is War' from Ottawa analysing how the WWF dealt with the immediate fall out.
We also look at the corresponding night's Nitro from Memphis, the 'Bret Screwed Bret' interview with Vince McMahon, plus Bret's Nitro debut and follow up appearances at Starrcade 1997.
