UWF The Final Year - Episode 6 - Chris Adams vs Terry Taylor

Callum Barnes returns for a look back on the May 9th, 16th & 23rd 1987 episodes of the Universal Wrestling Federation.

 

These featured two huge showdowns between former tag team champions, Terry Taylor & Chris Adams plus Barry Windham, UWF World Champion Big Bubba Rogers, J.J. Dillon, Dusty Rhodes AND Magnum TA's return to the promotion on commentary.

This was the first show taped post Crockett buyout, and featured One Man Gang defending the UWF Heavyweight title against Big Bubba Rogers.

UWF The Final Year - Episode 3

Stuart Roberts (@wakefieldcanary) & Mark Dunderdale (@dopper6) are back to look at all the happenings from the last full month of Watts UWF ownership - March 1987.

 

We have a mystery jar causing a lot of friction between rival parties, the continued evolution of the Iceman King Parsons character, plus UWF tv title action with Savannah Jack defending against Eddie Gilbert.

The boyhood dream came true.....no I'm definitely not talking about Shawn Michaels - I'm referring  to myself, Louis & nine trips across the pond to watch WWF/WWE.


This was originally recorded in September 2020 & released as a regular episode of Mid South Moments, but there's too much good stuff (arrogant) for this to be lost in the archives forever.
